Program Summary

The Abode Warehouse Trade Program provides exclusive trade pricing to licensed interior designers, contractors (C-15 preferred), architects, property managers, real estate agents, and other qualified professionals operating in the San Francisco Bay Area, including Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, and Solano counties.

Trade members receive automatic pricing at checkout on all product categories — Hardwood, Waterproof, Carpet, Rugs, Wall Cladding, Stone, and Accessories. Volume discounts are available for large single-project orders. Payment is processed at time of purchase; Net-30 terms may be available for established accounts. Returns are accepted within 30 days on unopened materials with a 20% restocking fee. Delivery is available throughout the Bay Area, with local pickup at 370 Preston Court, Livermore, CA.

These Trade Program Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern participation in the Abode Warehouse Trade Program and apply to all approved trade members placing orders through abodewarehouse.com. By submitting a Trade Program application and using your trade account, you agree to these Terms in full.

1. Program Eligibility

The Abode Warehouse Trade Program is available to licensed and practicing professionals in the following fields:

  • Interior designers and interior decorators
  • Licensed general contractors and flooring contractors (C-15 license preferred)
  • Architects and architectural firms
  • Property managers and property developers
  • Real estate agents and brokers
  • Home stagers and renovation consultants
  • Commercial space planners and workplace designers

Abode Warehouse reserves the right to approve or decline any application at our sole discretion. A business license number, contractor license, or equivalent professional credential may be required to verify eligibility. Residential consumers and retail purchasers are not eligible for the Trade Program; orders placed under a trade account for personal, non-commercial use may result in account suspension.

Geographic Scope

The Abode Warehouse Trade Program is designed to serve professionals operating primarily in the San Francisco Bay Area, including Alameda County, Contra Costa County, Marin County, San Francisco County, San Mateo County, Santa Clara County, and Solano County. Trade accounts may be approved outside this region at our discretion; delivery availability for job sites outside the Bay Area should be confirmed with your account manager prior to placing orders.


2. Trade Pricing and Discounts

Approved trade members receive exclusive pricing on all products in the Abode Warehouse catalog, including Hardwood, Waterproof, Carpet, Rugs, Wall Cladding, Stone, and Accessories & Supplies.

How Trade Pricing Works

Trade pricing is applied automatically when you are logged in to your approved trade account. Trade pricing is not available on guest orders or on orders placed without logging in. Pricing displayed at checkout reflects your trade rate.

Volume Discounts

Additional volume discounts may be available on large single-project orders. Volume pricing is not automatic — contact your dedicated account manager with your project specifications before placing the order to confirm applicable discounts. Volume pricing cannot be applied retroactively after an order is placed.

Confidentiality of Trade Pricing

Trade pricing is confidential and intended solely for your business use. You agree not to publicly disclose, advertise, or share your trade pricing with persons or businesses outside of your own firm or project team. Sharing trade pricing with retail consumers, competitors, or the general public may result in immediate account suspension.

Price Changes

Abode Warehouse reserves the right to adjust trade pricing at any time. Pricing is confirmed at the time an order is placed. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant pricing changes to trade members in advance. Orders placed before a price change takes effect will be honored at the price shown at the time of purchase.


3. Account Setup and Access

Application and Approval

All trade accounts require a completed application. Most applications are reviewed and approved within 24 business hours. Upon approval, you will receive a welcome email with instructions to activate your trade account and access trade pricing. Incomplete applications may be delayed or declined.

Account Credentials

Your trade account login credentials are for your use only. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your username and password. You may authorize team members within your firm to order under your account — contact your account manager to add authorized users. You remain responsible for all orders and activity placed under your account, including unauthorized use resulting from your failure to keep credentials secure.

Account Updates

You are responsible for keeping your account information current, including business name, contact information, license numbers, and billing and shipping details. Notify your account manager promptly of any changes. Abode Warehouse is not responsible for delivery failures, billing errors, or communication gaps resulting from outdated account information.

Account Review

Abode Warehouse may periodically review trade accounts for continued eligibility. We may request updated business credentials, license verification, or proof of active professional practice. Failure to provide requested documentation within 14 days may result in temporary suspension of trade pricing until verification is complete.


4. Ordering and Payment

Placing Orders

Orders may be placed through abodewarehouse.com while logged in to your trade account, or by contacting your dedicated account manager directly. All orders are subject to product availability. Abode Warehouse does not guarantee continuous availability of any product and is not responsible for delays caused by supply chain disruptions, manufacturer lead times, or inventory constraints.

Order Confirmation

You will receive an order confirmation email at the address associated with your trade account. Review all order details — including product, quantity, pricing, and delivery address — immediately upon receipt. Notify your account manager of any discrepancies within 24 hours. Abode Warehouse is not responsible for errors that are not reported promptly.

Payment Terms

Standard trade orders are processed on a net-payment basis at the time of purchase using a valid credit card or other payment method on file. Net-30 payment terms may be available for established trade accounts with a demonstrated order history — contact your account manager to discuss eligibility. Net-30 accounts require a completed credit application and are subject to approval. Late payments on net-30 accounts are subject to a 1.5% monthly finance charge.

Sales Tax

Applicable California sales tax will be applied to all orders unless you provide a valid California Resale Certificate (BOE-230) on file with your account. To establish tax-exempt purchasing, submit your resale certificate to your account manager before placing your first order. Abode Warehouse is not responsible for refunding sales tax on orders placed before a valid resale certificate is on file.

5. Delivery and Shipping

Bay Area Delivery

Abode Warehouse offers local delivery to residential and commercial job sites throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Delivery fees vary by location and order size. Your account manager can provide a delivery quote before you place an order. Job site delivery requires a person on-site to receive the order; Abode Warehouse is not responsible for materials left unattended without an authorized recipient present.

Local Pickup

Trade members may pick up orders at our warehouse at 370 Preston Court, Livermore, CA. Call ahead to confirm your order is ready. Orders must be picked up within 7 business days of a pickup-ready notification; unclaimed orders may be returned to inventory.

Delivery Timelines

Estimated delivery timelines are provided as a courtesy and are not guaranteed. Delivery schedules may be affected by product availability, weather, carrier delays, or job site access issues. For time-sensitive projects, contact your account manager to discuss priority delivery options.

Delivery Damage

Inspect all materials at the time of delivery before signing any delivery confirmation. Note any visible damage on the delivery receipt and contact your account manager within 48 hours with photographs. Claims for damage reported after signed acceptance without notation may not be honored. Do not install damaged materials — installation of damaged product voids any applicable warranty and claim.


6. Returns, Exchanges, and Cancellations

Return Window

Trade members may return unopened, uninstalled materials in original manufacturer packaging within 30 days of delivery. Returns must be pre-authorized — do not ship materials back without a Return Authorization (RA) number from your account manager. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.

Return Conditions

Materials must be returned in original, undamaged, manufacturer-sealed packaging. Partial boxes, cut materials, opened packaging, or products showing signs of handling or installation are not eligible for return. A restocking fee of up to 20% may apply. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the trade member unless the return is due to a verified defect or shipping error by Abode Warehouse.

Non-Returnable Items

The following are not eligible for return: special-order products, custom-cut materials, clearance or final-sale items, and adhesives or chemical products that have been opened.

Order Cancellations

In-stock orders may be cancelled without penalty before they are shipped or scheduled for delivery. Orders already in transit may not be cancelled and are subject to standard return policy. Special orders may not be cancelled once confirmed with the manufacturer.


7. Product Warranties

Product warranties are provided by the original manufacturer and vary by product, installation method, and use case. Abode Warehouse does not independently warranty flooring products beyond manufacturer terms. As a trade professional, you are responsible for:

  • Reviewing applicable manufacturer warranties before specifying a product
  • Ensuring proper subfloor preparation, acclimation, and installation per manufacturer guidelines
  • Communicating warranty requirements and limitations to your clients
  • Retaining purchase documentation, which may be required to file a warranty claim

Abode Warehouse will assist trade members in initiating manufacturer warranty claims. Warranty claims resulting from improper installation, inadequate subfloor conditions, moisture exposure beyond product ratings, or failure to follow care guidelines are not covered.


8. Showroom Access and Client Presentations

Approved trade members are welcome to bring clients to our showroom at 3564 Mt Diablo Blvd, Lafayette, CA for material presentations. Please call ahead at (925) 989-9711 at least 24 hours in advance so we can prepare relevant samples. Any sale resulting from a showroom visit introduced by a trade member will be credited to that member's account at trade rates.


9. Account Suspension and Termination

Abode Warehouse reserves the right to suspend or terminate any trade account at our sole discretion, including for the following reasons:

  • Sharing trade pricing publicly or with ineligible parties
  • Placing orders for personal, non-commercial use under a trade account
  • Providing false or misleading information on the trade application
  • Failure to maintain a valid business license or professional credential
  • Outstanding unpaid balances on net-30 accounts beyond 60 days
  • Chargebacks disputed in bad faith

In the event of termination, any outstanding orders will be fulfilled at the order price, and any unpaid balances remain due. Abode Warehouse is not liable for business losses or damages resulting from account suspension or termination.


10. Limitation of Liability

Abode Warehouse's liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the value of the specific order giving rise to the claim. Abode Warehouse is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages including lost profits, project delays, or client disputes resulting from product defects, delivery failures, or pricing errors. This limitation applies to the fullest extent permitted under California law.


11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Contra Costa County, California under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You waive the right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against Abode Warehouse.


12. Changes to These Terms

Abode Warehouse reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify trade members of material changes by email to the address on file. Continued use of your trade account after notice of updated terms constitutes acceptance. The current version is always available at abodewarehouse.com/pages/trade-terms.


13. Agreement

By submitting a Trade Program application and using a trade account on abodewarehouse.com, you confirm that:

  • You have read and understood these Terms in full
  • You are authorized to enter into this agreement on behalf of your business
  • You agree to be bound by these Terms for the duration of your participation in the Abode Warehouse Trade Program
